A project in 2016 called "Stories of the Past" connected six artists with six seniors. Each artist spent a summer learning their stories and came up with artwork based on their lives. Their work was displayed in a month long gallery show at the Vernon Community Art Centre. My senior loved family holidays in a trailer by the ocean which was the inspiration for this piece.
